To All Gateways Music Festival Supporters:

According to the comments from those fortunate enough to attend one or more of the Gateways Music Festival events, each one has been, for want of a better way of putting it, "a blessed event". They have been successful because of what each participant has brought to it ­ ingenuity, years of dedication to music, love for brothers and sisters who share a common experience as artists, and at times, old fashioned patience to deal with the organizational learning curve.

None of these 'happenings' could have occurred without your faith and financial support. It was a leap of faith to contribute to such an unknown entity. You made it possible for more than 200 African American classical musicians to share their talents with audiences and with each other. You provided the wherewithal for young performers to network with established professionals, and you empowered us to introduce 'classics from a different angle'. You enabled us to meet all of the obligations incurred during the productions. You made it happen.

Thank you for your valuable and vital contribution to the GMF. We look forward to your continued support and participation in our effort to promote the arts in this and surrounding communities.
